AllwellBrown Consulting Ltd is a financial and business management consulting company that was registered on 12 th March, 2020. The company benefits from the professional skills and networks of its Chief Executive Officer, Dr Allwell Umunnaehila. The company runs a dual structure of internal staff and external Associates. The External Associates are a reservoir of well experienced professionals in various disciplines who the company invites as facilitators and resource persons when the need arises.

Meet Our Team

Our team is made of highly experienced professionals in diverse fields of the financial and economic spectrum with track records in private and public services. This team is being led by our Chief Executive Officer, Dr Allwell Umunnaehila.

Meet Dr. Allwell Umunnaehila, Ph.D, FCS, CMA

Dr Allwell Umunnaehila is the Chief Executive Officer of AllwellBrown Consulting Ltd. He is a consummate professional with cognate skills in capital markets, investment banking, strategic management, financial and economic management. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with specialization in Strategic Management from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. He also holds an MBA with specialization in Finance and Banking as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and Banking from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His first degree is in Civil Engineering. He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Nigeria with dealership licenses of the Nigerian Exchange Group and Securities and Exchange Commission. He is also a Commodities Broker with the license of Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange.

His career encompasses a combination of public and private sector expertise, as he worked as a civil engineer in the public sector for approximately 20 years before transitioning to the private sector. He was a member of the Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange management team that set up the Exchange. He is  the Exchange’s pioneer Head of Operations until 2024, when he departed to lead AllwellBrown Consulting Ltd. He had previously worked at ECL Asset Management Ltd., where he advanced through the ranks to become the company’s chief executive officer and managing director.

He served as a member of Commodities Ecosystem Technical Committee and Financial Literacy Technical Committee of Securities and Exchange, Nigeria. He has been an Assessor and an Examiner in Derivatives with the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) professional exams for the past twelve years. He is a member of the Education Committee of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, an appointment he has been nominated for the past eight years.  He is a Full member of Capital Market Academics. He is the author of three books, Bank Failures in Nigeria: History, Causes and Remedies (1996) and Corporate Restructuring in Nigeria (2001), Organizational Factors as correlates of Competitive Advantage (2019)
